Frozen Strawberry Champagne

3 cups hulled strawberries

1 1/2 cups ice

1 oz simple syrup (more if berries are tart)

3 cups champagne

Blend ice, berries and syrup in blender until smooth. Add champagne and stir gently. Serve in tall glass garnished with strawberry.
